The MagMod MagBeam Wildlife kit enables you to get more reach from your speedlite, which is handy for times when you require a fill-flash when you are shooting wildlife, but don't want to get too close the animal you are photographing. The MagMod MagBeam enables you can gain up to an extra 2 to 3 effective stops of useable light thanks to its interchangeable Fresnel lens located at the front of the MagBeam. This means more light over a greater distance, and you can also reduce the power of your flash for faster recycle times. When fully extended, the MagBeam gives you super-focused light with a hard edge, similar to that of a stage spotlight. When collapsed down one or two stages, the MagBeam creates a wider beam pattern while retaining the beautiful shape and crisp edges. It's like having a Hollywood-style fresnel spotlight that fits in your pocket. The Magbeam mounts to your flash using Neodymium Rare-Earth Magnets, together with the MagGrip accessory (sold separately). Gone are the days of fighting with Velcro, sticky adhesives, bulky straps or other DIY solutions to secure modifiers to your speedlite. The MagBeam's collapsible design isn't just for portability. If collapsed down all the way, and you swap the Tele Lens for the Wide Lens (sold separately), and add one of the MagMask custom-made stainless steel gobos (sold separately), to transform your MagBeam into a pattern-projector, which can be used to add interest and creativity to your backgrounds or subjects. Like everything else in MagMod System, the MagBeam can be used in combination with other MagMod accessories, such as the MagGel system.
