The Vortex Razor HD LER Wide Angle Eyepiece 18x65mm 22x85mm is designed for Razor HD telescopes and offers a sharp and clear view thanks to the High Density glass and special coatings. This eyepiece is designed for Razor HD telescopes with a diameter of 65mm or 85mm and is excellent for distance work.
Wide-angle eyepiece with fixed magnification
The Long Eye Relief (LER) of 31mm ensures that you have good vision when your eye is 31mm from the glass. On a 65mm telescope it gives 18x magnification and on an 85mm telescope 22x magnification. Unlike the eyepieces that come standard with the Razor HDs, this LER wide-angle eyepiece has a fixed magnification. This results in better image quality.
Waterproof and well protected
The Vortex Razor HD LER Wide Angle Eyepiece 18x65mm 22x85mm is waterproof thanks to the sealed O-rings, so you can use it without problem in bad weather conditions. The argon gas filling ensures that the eyepiece is always fog-free. Vortex's patented XR coatings increase light transmission and thus provide maximum brightness. This prevents annoying reflections. The ocular has an ArmorTek coating that is ultra hard, protecting the outer lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.
