Saramonic's Vmic Recorder is a unidirectional condenser microphone with a super-cardioid directional characteristic. The Vmic Recorder is specially made for DSLR cameras and video cameras. The Vmic Recorder's metal housing guarantees high reliability. The metal housing of the Vmic Recorder guarantees a high reliability. The Vmic Recorder can easily be placed on your camera by means of the coldshoe or threaded connection. You connect the Vmic Recorder to your camera with the supplied cable. By means of an adapter (see optional accessories) the Vmic Recorder is also suitable for smartphones. To use the Vmic Recorder, insert two AA batteries (not included).

Built-in Vmic Recorder

Simply insert a microSD card into the Vmic Recorder to record the sound safely. This can be useful as an extra backup, in case the sound is not recorded properly in your camera. It is also possible to use the Vmic Recorder without a camera. The sound is recorded independently, so that you can later remove and process it yourself from the memory card.

Usage Vmic Recorder

The Vmic Recorder is indispensable for general sound recording in your studio and on location. With the supplied windscreen the Vmic Recorder can also be used outdoors. There is a low-cut filter to filter out sounds with a frequency lower than 150 Hz. To assess the sound quality live, you can connect headphones directly to the Vmic Recorder.
