The SK-BD420 from StudioKing is a white beauty dish (? 42 cm) that comes with a honeycomb, diffusion fabric and a reflector. As the name suggests, a beauty dish allows you to photograph people in the most beautiful way. It provides a wide spread and great contrast so that details of a person (think skin tones or muscles) are highlighted in the most beautiful way. Compared to a white beauty dish, a silver color ensures that details are highlighted even better.

How does it work?

You attach the reflector to the three 'sticks' on the inside of the beauty dish. This reflects and distributes the light. You use the honeycomb to direct the flash light more. The diffusion cloth softens the light. Different adapter rings are optionally available (note: they are not included as standard with this product).

Using this beauty dish you can easily use many different brands, including Bowens, Broncolor, Elinchrom, Falcon Eyes, Hensel, Multiblitz and Linkstar. Adapter rings are available for all these brands, which you will find in the optional accessories. In addition to the 152mm adapter rings, you can connect this beauty dish to adapters with a 144mm diameter. This saves you a considerable amount of money because you no longer need to purchase the original accessories of a particular brand.
