Get your glow on with Lensbaby’s versatile 28mm f/2.5 lens for photo and video. The lens is built with landscape, adventure, travel and urban photography in mind.
Velvet 28mm turns every hour of shooting into the magic hour. Capture tack-sharp detail beneath a layer of spectacular, velvety glow, or make crisp images with little to no effect.
The special thing about Lensbaby Velvet lenses is that at full aperture they produce a crisp sharpness but at the same time gives a soft, dreamy blur over the image. The effect decreases the lower aperture which makes it more versatile. Each stop creates a different effect.
Housing is made of all aluminium and focusing is done manually. Optical contruction consists of 8 elements in 7 groups with anti-reflective coating. The lens also offers a real macro 1:2 maximum magnification and a minimal focusing distance of 49mm which is great for macro shooting.
