This is a fully functional replacement for the original Canon lens hood EW-73C.

The housing is specially designed for Canon 10-18 mm lens f / 4.5-5.6 EF-S IS STM which guarantees optimum functionality. It does not cause vignetting. It is mounted on the outer catches the lens, so that the filters can be screwed directly into the thread of the lens - they are not moved away from the lens as in the case of other guards with a double thread. Cover can be inserted and removed without having to unscrew the filter from the lens.
