Manfrotto 290 DUAL KIT BALL HEAD

The Manfrotto MK290DUA3-BHUS 290 Dual Aluminum Tripod features a 90° center column for shooting tabletop, low-angle, or macro photography. It extends from just 2.4" above the ground to 68.1" high. The tripod weighs 4.1 lb and can hold up to 11 lb worth of gear. Its 3-sections legs have tension-adjustable flip locks to individually adjust each leg's height. Four locking leg angles enable you to place the tripod in a variety of positions. A rubber grip on one of the legs aids in carrying the tripod, and rubber feet keep it stable on slippery surfaces.

Included with the tripod is the 496RC2 Compact Ball Head with an RC2 quick-release plate. The head is constructed of die-cast aluminum and has a single repositionable locking lever, ±90° tilt movement, plus a friction control for precise positioning. A safety lock on the ball head prevents your camera from accidentally detaching from the head.

This 496RC2 Compact Ball Head from Manfrotto features an integrated RC2 quick release cam lock and a 200PL-14 Quick Release Plate. RC2 compatible quick release plates such as the 200PL-14 can be removed from the head by pulling the cam lock's spring-loaded lever, which also allows the plate to be instantly reattached.

The 496RC2 Compact Ball Head with 200PL-14 Quick Release Plate has a load capacity of 13.2 lb and can be attached to tripods or other support systems that feature a 3/8"-16 mount. By loosening the 496RC2 Compact Ball Head's locking knob, its ball-and-socket joint can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position. An additional knob opposite the locking knob can be rotated to apply tension control to the ball-and-socket joint's movements.

Cameras or accessories that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the 200PL-14 quick release plate which measures 1.7 x 2.1 x 0.4" and has a rubberized, non-slip surface.
