High-Resolution Mode
A new High Resolution Mode delivers 80 megapixel (equivalent) images in both JPEG and RAW - ideal for landscape, macro and nature photographers. Perfectly framed
A large and bright viewfinder offers a high magnification ratio of 0.83x, with zero blackout even when shooting at high speeds. Unlike a DSLR’s viewfinder, you can always be sure that what you see is what you get thanks to live updates and a 100% view. Focusing is a breeze thanks to three modes of magnification, too.
Reliable and versatile
Shooting in challenging environments means you need your camera to be tough. The Lumix G9 is freeze, splash* and dustproof and has been designed with photographers’ needs in mind. There’s USB charging, Dual SD Card slots with high speed UHS-II / V90 card compatibility, a joystick, status LCD and a large ergonomic grip. Ultra Fast Motion Detection & Focus
Panasonic's innovative DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology is constantly evolving and its just got even better. DFD allows the LUMIX GH5 to calculate focal lens movement by comparing depth of field values of two images at incredibly high speed. By combining the AF drive with a maximum read speed of 480 fps, the LUMIX GH5 can achieve ultra-high-speed Auto Focus in up to 0.05 seconds* and 9 fps burst shooting with AFC (* 12 fps burst shooting with AFS). A newly adopted motion detector accurately tracks fast moving subjects, and enables smooth 4K PHOTO/VIDEO & 6K PHOTO recording.

Never Miss A Shot with 6K/4K Burst
