Saramonic CamMic is a passive microphone that gives excellent sound quality when recording video for filmmakers and producers of sound.
For better sound quality microphone comes with an integrated system of "shock mount". This function fully isolate the microphone capsule of any type of shock and other physical factors which can record microphone (crackles, clicks) when recording the video material.
In addition, the microphone has low-pass filter (80 Hz), which when activated allows to eliminate the cause noise low-frequency sounds. The quality of recorded sound is also influenced by double windshield with a rubber band, which is perfectly profiled in relation to the microphone and gives the effect of a warm sound.
CamMic is equipped with a microphone input 3.5mm TRS. To set with a microphone attached two cables 3.5 mm mini-jack (TRS / TRS and TRS / TRRS), which makes it compatible with many models of cameras, camcorders and smartphones.

Best used within 4 of the subject, the CamMic microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses the sound pickup in front of the camera while eliminating distracting background noises. Turning on the 80 Hz low-pass filter helps reduce unwanted low-frequency noise caused by traffic and air conditioning, making room for clearer speech and dialogue.
