The versatility of the flash is also worth mentioning. It offers many methods of flash triggering: PC connector - using a cable with a traditional PC sync connector. ISO shoe - flash attached using the hot shoe directly to the camera sled or radio trigger. Remote flash triggering (S1 and S2 modes) - using a photocell that reacts to the first flash of another flash (S1), or additionally, automatically skipping the pre-flash of another flash (S2). Yongnuo RF602 and RF603 radio flash triggering systems - using the built-in receiver Two modes of operation With two modes, the flash will work well for many photographers with diverse needs. Both amateurs and professionals are sure to find solutions to develop their passion and gain new skills. Manual (M) mode gives the user full control over the flash parameters. In this mode, as the name suggests, the flash power is set manually by the user. The stroboscopic (Multi) mode, on the other hand, allows you to take a series of flashes during a single exposure. This allows you to take creative photographs of the movement of your subject in the frame. Readable backlit screen From the point of view of ergonomics and convenience of flash operation, one of the most important elements of the Yongnuo YN560 III is the large and easy-to-read high-contrast display. It provides comfortable and intuitive menu navigation, allowing you to quickly switch between the various functions. In contrast to the basic lamp variant, however, the Negative Display model features a slightly different display colour scheme. White symbols, indicators and values are displayed on a black background. Since there is no shortage of "dark mode" enthusiasts among smartphone and computer users, Yongnuo decided to meet photographers with similar preferences! Comfortable operation The Yongnuo YN560 III Negative Display flash allows you to quickly and easily shape the nature of the light generated. The movable head with manual zoom function, built-in diffuser and reflector allows you to creatively modify the style of light generated to the needs of the selected scene. The easy-to-read LCD Negative Display and intuitive, easy-to-navigate menus allow convenient navigation of functions and settings. Large, well-exposed buttons ensure comfortable operation, even with winter gloves on. The lamp also offers a system of optional audible signals to inform you of the device's status. Flash Radio Trigger System The built-in radio receiver allows you to work with other Yongnuo RF602 and RF603 system flashes and triggers. Remote flash triggering using 2.4GHz radio waves provides a longer range (up to 100m) than optical triggering. The triggered flash also does not have to "see" the flash of the control unit, so it can be hidden behind scene elements. An additional advantage of radio communication is the ability to remotely control the settings of multiple lamps from the lamp/controller interface working in master mode. Volatile communication on multiple channels As a Slave (RX) unit, the Yongnuo YN560 III Negative Display can operate on one of 16 available communication channels and in one of 18 groups. This allows precise control of multiple lamps "linked" into groups, as well as free operation in a shared space with other photographers working on similar radio systems. As a slave lamp, the YN560 III can be triggered by radio signals from the YN720, YN660, YN560 IV lamps and the YN560TX, RF605, RF603, RF602 triggers. Sync-to-both-curtains A special mode allows you to creatively use the flash effect at the beginning or end of an exposure. The Yongnuo YN560 III Negative Display flash offers both first-curtain and second-curtain flash synchronisation, allowing you to significantly influence the character of your images. Flashing at the second curtain (at the end of the exposure) allows you to capture the effect of movement behind your subject, such as streaks behind a moving car. In the case of flashing at the first curtain (at the beginning of the exposure) the blur created by the light is in front of the moving subject. Universal power supply Implemented power management systems have reduced the time between flashes (at basic power and full power) to just 3 seconds. Thanks to that it is ready to work at almost any time. Yongnuo YN560 III Negative Display reporter flash is powered by four standard AA cells (batteries or rechargeable batteries). Compatibility with popular and readily available "sticks" makes the flash usable anywhere in the world. Additionally, in order to optimise the operation of the device, it is equipped with an energy-saving function, which automatically switches off the lamp in the case of long periods of inactivity. To further increase the lamp's efficiency, an external power bank or battery tray such as the SF18C or SF17C can be connected to it. The additional power source allows you to extend the life of the unit without having to change batteries and reduce the time it takes to charge the next flash. High build quality The components of the Yongnuo YN560 III Negative Display are made from high quality materials to ensure long flash use. An advanced system protects components from overheating. In case of overheating, the protection mechanism informs the user about it and limits the available flash functions, thus protecting the flash against damage. There's also a mini USB port on the body of the device to allow for software updates, which can ensure compatibility with new camera models.
