The Kowa TSN773 is a very reliable and clear spotting scope. The body is made of super strong magnesium and is equipped with a telescopic hood. This hood protects the lens against exposure of rain and direct sunlight getting into the spotting scope.

The Kowa Spotting Scope TSN-773 is a robust and clear spotting scope with an objective diameter of 77mm. The Kowa TSN-773 uses an XD lens with low dispersion properties to reduce chromatic aberration. The performance and compactness of these spotting scopes are unmatched in this class.

The body is made of magnesium which makes the weight of 1330 grams considerably lower than comparable models. This robust magnesium body can also withstand the toughest conditions, is waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent fogging of the lens. The Kowa Spotting Scope TSN-773 features an extendable lens hood. This lens hood protects the lens from direct sunlight which can penetrate the spotting scope, but also ensures that rain can't easily get onto the lens.

• XD(ED) lenses
  The high quality XD(ED) lenses with Multi Coating treatment have low dispersion properties to reduce chromatic aberration. Like the TSN-880 models, the curved lens in combination with the XD lens is made of glass with special dispersion properties to reduce chromatic aberration even further.
• Double focusing mechanism (fast and fine focusing)
  This fast focus, with a large and easy to rotate knob, will focus in two revolutions from infinity to five meters. The fine focusing, with smooth movements and great precision, is extremely useful at high magnifications and digiscoping.
• Ocular locking mechanism
  The eyepiece bayonet mount now has an attractive feature. An eyepiece locking mechanism has been added to the holder to prevent the eyepiece from being lost or falling out unexpectedly.
• Compact and lightweight housing
  Very compact, By using the inner focusing system, the Kowa Spotting Scope TSN-773 remains light and compact, creating a large 77mm objective lens in a body length of a 60mm Spotting Scope. Weighing in at 1330 grams, this scope is still easy to handle and carry.
• Tripod connection
  The addition of a metal insert to the scope's tripod mount allows the scope to be mounted on both 1/4 and 3/8 inch tripods.
• Waterproof and filled with nitrogen gas
  The housing is waterproof to JIS* Protection Class 7** and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the lens from fogging up.
  * JIS=Japanese industrial standard. ** No water shall enter the housing when submerged in water under defined conditions (immersion resistant).
  The Kowa TSN-773 is not intended for use under water.
