SiOnyx Nightwave C014900 Full-Color Night Vision Marine Camera Black

The NIGHTWAVE from Sionyx is an ultra low-light and full-color camera specifically designed as an accessible solution for use on ships and boats, from professional to leisure use. The night vision system displays images at night in vivid daylight colors and has extremely high light output, even in situations with minimal residual light. The Nightwave is wired and remote. The unit features an analog (NTSC/PAL) output. This is used to connect directly to displays that support analog video-IN. Think of multi-functional displays of various well-known brands. To make this connection you use the supplied cable. In addition, it is possible to live stream images via Wi-Fi to your iOS/Android smartphone or tablet via the free SIONYX app. From your own device, you take photos and videos. The Nightwave streams in 1080x720 HD at 30 frames per second.

On the underside, the camera has a standard 1/4" female threaded connection, so you can attach the Nightwave to numerous tripods and clamps (see optional accessories). The camera can also be mounted upside down, with the software automatically rotating the displayed image 180 degrees. Power is supplied via USB power or via the included video OUT cable (12Vdc) that you plug into the MFD. The image angle of the Nightwave can only be adjusted manually, in terms of height.

Application Sionyx Nightwave

With the Sionyx Nightwave, it is possible to stay on the water late into the night and you navigate home safely.

Even though the Nightwave is basically designed for use on boats and ships, the night camera can of course be used in any other application. Think of use on vehicles, in your garden or on land, and so on. In fact, using the live-stream function, the camera is multi-purpose.
