The teleconverter, mounted between the camera body and lens, extends the focal distance of the attached lens by a factor of 2. For example, it increases the focal distance of the walimex 500/6.3DX Mirror Tele T2 to 1000mm. Due to the design, a light loss of 2 apertures results from a physical point of view. The converter can be used on all lenses with T2 connection and by means of a respective adapter be connected to many SLRs.
