LAOWA Proteus are cine lenses with optimized optical properties for professional anamorphic productions. It is a series of anamorphic lenses with a constant 2x compression factor.
With its reliable anamorphic glass and robust construction, a Proteus is a modern piece of jewelry that combines a vintage anamorphic look with a unique character.
Features:
- Patented anamorphic design
- Constant 2x compression factor: you get a 2.66:1 on a 4:3 sensor and a 2.41 on a 4:3 sensor and a 2.4:1 on a 6:5 sensor after de-squeezing
- LAOWA Proteus supports the S35+ sensor format and covers the Alexa 35 sensor in 2.39:1 ratio and the Red V-Raptor sensor in 7K 6:5 ANA.
