HaloCompact boasts a special patented baffle plate design that makes them even easier to carry than any other standard baffle plate! Unlike many traditional steel-framed reflector/diffusers, the HaloCompact 82cm is constructed with Manfrotto's new innovative RapidExoframe technology from Lastolite. The foldable lightweight aluminium frame slides in quickly and easily and the reflector housing simply attaches to the frame. The cleverly designed RapidExoFrame design allows the frame to be broken down into small parts and, together with the folded fabric parts, stored in a portable package measuring 6.5 x 27 x 6.5 cm (2.5" x 10.5") and weighing a total of just 335g.

The new HaloCompact surfaces are available as a complete solution with RapidExoframe or as covers only for users who already own a frame.

The unique patented diffusion fabric consists of a standard diffuser surface with a silver stripe. This allows the HaloCompact to pass as a diffuser on one side and reflect light from the silver stripes on the other, making it a unique, true diffuser and reflective panel in one.
