The Rode HS2 is a low-profile, ergonomic and lightweight headset microphone that provides clear, bright and distinctive sound for any application where the microphone needs to be placed in close proximity to the mouth of the speaker (presenter).

The HS2 is the result of an extensive process of complete redesign of the previous HS1 model. The microphone features an arm and headband made of adjustable, highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring steel, attached to flexible hypoallergenic silicone earcups for maximum flexibility and user comfort.
The black (HS2-B) or pink (HS2-P) finish is created with a durable ceramic lacquer. In addition to the two color versions, the HS2 is also available in two different sizes(Small/Large) thus ensuring the perfect fit and functionality for each individual.
The HS2 includes a 1.2m Kevlar-reinforced cable with braided shielding, terminated with a gold-plated 3.5mm TRS connector with removable locking nut to ensure secure connection to a wide range of recording devices and wireless transmitters, including RODE Filmmaker and Newsshooter kits.
Its light weight, comfortable fit, minimalist appearance, low self-noise and spherical directional characteristic make the HS2 the ideal microphone for film, television, video, theatre, worship and other live vocal productions.
