The KH 120 A is the first in a new line of Neumann studio monitors. It is designed for "nearfield" applications, i.e. mainly for close listening. However, it can also be used as a rear or effect speaker in multi-channel systems.
The KH 120 A features a precision MMD (Mathematically Modeled Dispersion) sound guide, switches for frequency response correction depending on the position of the loudspeakers in the room, Class AB analogue amplifiers, high quality analogue inputs and a wide range of accessories for stand or wall mounting. The KH 120 A is the perfect tool for studio monitoring, mixing and mastering music, as well as for broadcast and post-production studios. This professional monitor provides neutral and accurate reproduction across the entire sound spectrum. Precise bass reproduction starts from as low as 52 Hz, easily matching much larger systems.

Compact aluminium voice coil with magnetic shielding - minimises resonances, contributes to better cooling and extends the life of the speaker
The front panel of the speaker is a compact moulding with no unwanted edges or protrusions
The wider horizontal beam angle allows for greater freedom of movement at the mixing console and therefore provides a wider field of ideal sweetspot
The narrower vertical beam angle minimises unwanted reflections from the work surface
Appropriately sized bassreflex openings on the front allow reproduction of lower frequencies while maintaining the ability to be installed in workstations constrained by space, such as transmission vans
