The CX-824 by Falcon Eyes is a separate control unit to control the flexible LED-mat RX-824. The controller has an LCD display with which you can control the lighting. With a sound output of only 33.5 dB (@ 0.5m), the controller is extremely suitable for video productions, because the controller produces hardly any sound at all. The control unit is equipped with automatic cooling. You can supply power to the controller via mains current or via optionally available V-mount batteries.
In addition to power and colour temperature, for example, you can also use a number of special modes on this controller:
• CCT mode: brightness and colour temperature (2800K-10,000K)
• RGB mode: Set any color (from 0 to 255)
• HSI mode: hue, saturation and intensity (0 to 100%)
• Filter mode: 20 Rosco filters and 20 Lee filters
• Theme mode: flashing lights, candlelight, thunderstorm (speed adjustable)
Other possibilities of operation
Unique to the new RX-800 series from Falcon Eyes, to which the RX-824 also belongs, is that you can also control the control unit via your smartphone instead of the OLED touchscreen. This allows you to operate the flexible LED lamp at greater distances without having to stand near the controller all the time. For operation via your smartphone, you can use the free apps for Android and iOS (Bluetooth 5.0). Finally, you can also control the controller via DMX.
