And it produces a fantastic smooth and beautiful bokeh, ideal for both portraits and product photography.
Superb performance in all shooting conditions
The optical construction is an advanced Sonnar with a floating lens design that contains apochromatic glass and an aspherical element. This combination ensures a consistent imaging performance and sharpness throughout the entire focusing range and across the whole image.
Including high quality apochromatic glass and an asphere prevents almost all conceivable aberrations, such as colour fringing. In addition, Zeiss T* anti reflective coating minimizes lens flare and keeps the contrast high, even when shooting against the light.
