Technology

The C3 coatings enable first-class light transmission. This C3 coating is a new technology to increase the reflectivity of the prism. By reducing the amount of light that is lost, a clearer field of vision is achieved. Kowa Repelling technology prevents grease, liquid and dirt from accumulating on the surface, making cleaning much easier. This KR technology also reduces the risk of scratching a fragile lens surface by reducing the pressure required to remove dirt. With the 100% waterproof Kowa BD25 10x25 fully filled with nitrogen gas, these roof-mounted binoculars can cope with all temperature fluctuations without fogging up the lenses on the inside.

Focusing

Focusing the Kowa BD25 10x25 is done with the central focusing wheel, which is very easy to handle. Under the right eyepiece is a dioptric adjustment ring with a special groove to give extra grip during use. This allows the binoculars to be accurately focused and adapted to the individual user to provide a clear and sharp image. The minimum focusing distance of the BD25 10x25 is as low as 1.8 metres.
