The LAOWA Ranger 28-75mm T2.9 FF Cine and the LAOWA Ranger 75-180mm T2.9 FF Cine in a bundle combine exceptional functions and unrivaled performance. It has a wide zoom range, which is very popular among filmmakers. Weighing only around 1.4kg, such a cine zoom lens is incredibly light, allowing filmmakers to effortlessly create breathtaking shots with exquisite details. Filmmakers can enjoy the convenience of the parfocal design as it ensures precise focus control when zooming in and out. The close focus distance of 0.49m or 0.89cm enables captivating detailed shots. At the same time, the focus transition is virtually without focus breathing. The optics are housed in a professional cine housing and have an integrated flange focus adjustment system, allowing for smooth and reliable shooting. This makes them extremely user-friendly tools for producing cinematic works.
If parfocality is the essential feature of a good zoom lens, the Rangers ensure precise sharpness with their excellent parfocal design. Feel free to zoom in and out, knowing your subject will remain sharp and in focus, allowing you to create seamless, uninterrupted shots. The Rangers are equipped with a PL connector and an interchangeable EF bayonet, making them compatible with a wide range of cameras. Additionally, additional RF/E/Z/L mirrorless interchangeable mounts are available as accessories to suit filmmakers with a wide range of cameras.
The Ranger series is an exciting, straightforward lens system with all the desirable optical performance. All Rangers have an integrated back focus adjustment system, eliminating the need for a multiple adjustment process. It is practical and easy for the filmmaker to use 77mm screw-in filters directly on the filter thread. On all Ranger lenses, the continuously variable aperture and focus rings are equipped with standardized module 0.8 toothed rings to work with follow focus. The focus scale is displayed in metric and feet.
