The Vmic allows you to adjust level control (-10dB, 0dB, +20dB), high-pass filter (150 Hz), and high-frequency boost (+6dB) to increase intelligibility of dialogue. The detachable 3.5mm cable connects the Vmic to the audio input of the camera, while the stereo headphone output allows you to monitor the incoming audio. The shock mount system provides isolation from vibration and mechanical noise.

Saramonic's Vmic is a one-way condenser microphone with super-cardioid directional characteristics. The Vmic is specially made for DSLR cameras and video cameras. The Vmic's metal housing guarantees high reliability. You simply place the Vmic on your camera using the coldshoe or threaded connection. You connect the Vmic to your camera with the supplied cable. Through an adapter (see optional accessories) the Vmic is also suitable for smartphones. To use the Vmic, place two AA batteries (not included).

Usage Vmic

The Vmic is indispensable for general sound recording in your studio and on location. With the supplied windscreen, the Vmic can also be used outside. Optionally you can adjust the level to -10 dB or +20 dB with a switch. There is also a low-cut filter available, to filter out sounds with a frequency lower than 150 Hz. The high frequency boost improves the audibility of the voice. To assess the sound quality live, you can connect a headphone directly to the Vmic.
