The Byomic Beginners Microscope Set has a magnification of 100x, 400x and 900x and is suitable for beginners. The microscope has a robust housing and is delivered in a practical carry case. The microscope is supplied with 28 different accessories enabling the user to observe and experience the things that exist in the world around us unable to be seen by the naked eye. The foot of the microscope is equipped with a battery socket suitable for 2 AA batteries. These batteries power the light used to illuminate the object being studied. Alternatively, the integrated mirror enables the user to utilize natural lighting to illuminate the object under the microscope.

The Byomic Beginners Microscope Set is ideal for children who want to get acquainted with the world of microscopy. This biological microscope comes with a lot of accessories to have a lot of fun with. The microscope has a fixed eyepiece of 10x and with the three objectives a magnification of respectively 100x, 400x or 900x can be achieved.
Body
The housing is made of metal with plastic parts, such as the 60 x 60 mm table where the specimens can be placed. This table is equipped with two clamps to clamp the specimen so that it will not move during observations. The microscope is also equipped with a focus wheel that can be used to change the distance between the table and the lens, making it possible to get a sharp view of the subject.
Under the table is a color filter disc with four colors (red, green, blue and light blue) so you can expose the specimen with a different color. You will also find exposure holes in four different sizes on the disc. This allows you to determine the amount of illumination needed to expose the specimen.
Illumination
Under the table you will find a mirror with which you can illuminate the specimen. By catching light with the mirror the specimen can be illuminated. It is also possible to illuminate with an LED light, to do this you have to turn the mirror upside down so that the light is visible at the top. If you want to use this LED light, you need to insert 2 AA batteries (optional) in the base at the bottom. This can be done by unscrewing the screws and inserting the batteries.
