Versatile wide angle focal length and high lens speed
The walimex pro 35/1.4 lens offers the ideal focal length in wide angle photography, which enables a vast variety of possibilities in creative photography. The lens is particularly suitable for landscape photography, architectural photography and also as a report photography lens. It comes with a fixed focal length of 35mm and a very high lens speed of 1:1.4. This is why optimal results can be obtained even with shorter exposure times or under poor light conditions. Focussing takes place manually. The lens is full-frame compatible.

Lens with AE chip
Special advantage of this lens is the AE chip. This enables the control of all automatic features from the camera, all EXIF-data are transferred to the camera. Since the lens control solely takes place via the camera, the bayonet no longer has an aperture ring.

Extensive optical design
In order to achieve an excellent imaging quality, great importance was attached to an optimal lens design. All of the 12 glass lenses are multi-coated, which prevents reflections so that more light is made available for the image. Moreover, the coating also enhances the contrast and results in a more brilliant colour rendering. Two of the lenses are High Refraction lenses, which enable optimal image quality. An aspherical lens additionally ensures correction of spherical image defects. The lens housing is made of metal and is therefore highly robust. And it also convinces with its noble optical appearance. Besides the high-quality optics, the detachable lens hood, which prevents lateral incident stray light and lens reflections, also ensures optimal imaging results.
