Irix Cine Matte Box IQ

Irix Matte Box is an important tool for filmmakers who want to get the best results from their shots and are constantly looking for new creative possibilities.
From now on, it doesn't matter which lens you have. You can use Irix magnetic filters on any of them, allowing you to work on plans even more efficiently and comfortably. The Irix Matte Box is made so that you can insert and remove filters as quickly as possible. Magnetic Mount (MMS) has been moved from Irix Cine lenses to the Matte Box, so you can enjoy all the benefits of Irix filters no matter which lens is your favourite.
Diameter flexibility in the Irix Matte Box
It mounts to the outer flange of the lens with a diameter of 95 mm as standard, but additional adapters are also available to attach it to standard filter threads from 52 mm to 86 mm in diameter.

If you like ultra-wide shots, you'll be pleased to know that we have designed the Irix Matte Box so that you can use it from 15mm to full frame. This is a great option for people who want to get even better results in a wide frame.
