Laowa 25 mm f / 2.8 lens is a compact ultra macro developed for extreme close-ups. Offer it up to five times larger for shooting miniature objects.
optical system Laowa 25 mm f / 2.8 Macro Ultra consists of eight elements arranged in six groups. Among the lenses is a glass element ultra-low dispersion, which is responsible for the reduction of chromatic aberration. The whole design provides images with high sharpness and faithful color cast. Adjustable aperture f / 2.8 - f / 16, and relatively short for this type of lens, the focal length to provide a comfortable working depth of field. Variable scale image magnification (2.5x - 5x) works well when shooting objects with different sizes, such as insects, plants, or details of larger items. The lens can not be used for applications other than Macro. The lens barrel is made entirely of metal.
