The Samyang 24mm F/1.4 is made up of 13 elements that are grouped in 12 groups. The lens has two aspherical glass areas, which makes the lens lighter and more compact and these lens sections also ensure less chromatic abberation. 4 of the 13 elements are made of the Low-Dispersion glass (ED), which considerably increases the quality. The high quality multi-layer and anti-reflection coatings give contrast and colorful images.

If the lens is used with full -frame cameras, this lens can be used excellently as a wide -angle lens. Use this lens in combination with an APS-C sensor and you get a lens that is perfectly suitable for journalism and/or landscape photography.
