By simply adding a Translucent Diffuser, the Deep Umbrella will be transformed into a “fold-up” softbox.
In combination with Deep Silver Umbrella
When using the Deep Silver Umbrella, the optional translucent diffuser delivers the lighting effect of an indirect softbox, with any catch-light showing also the shadow of the flash head. In this situation, the central position of the Elinchrom head offers a more symmetrical result.
In combination with Deep White Umbrella
When using the Deep White Umbrella, the optional translucent diffuser offers the lighting effect of an indirect softbox, with any catchlight showing also the shadow of the flash head. In this situation, the central position of the Elinchrom head offers a more symmetrical result. The white interior will create slightly warmer and softer shadow transitions.
In combination with Deep Tranlucent Umbrella
When using the Deep Translucent Umbrella, the optional translucent diffuser offers the lighting effect of a large light dome. It can be positioned to modify any catch-light as desired.
