Design and Construction

The Godox SB-GUE95 is an octagonal umbrella-style softbox with a diameter of 95 cm, designed to provide soft, even lighting for photography and videography. Its frame operates on the umbrella principle, allowing for quick setup and breakdown. The rods are made of elastic steel, which stretch and hold the rip-stop nylon fabric taut, ensuring durability and resistance to mechanical damage while remaining lightweight.

Light Diffusion and Interior Finish

The interior of the softbox features a silver reflective coating that evenly distributes light across the diffusers. It includes two diffusion layers: a main external diffuser and an additional internal diffuser made of white material with a high light scattering coefficient. This combination produces soft, uniform illumination. The front of the softbox has a collar for mounting the included honeycomb grid, which helps control light spill and direction.

Mounting and Compatibility

The softbox is equipped with a Bowens mount ring, making it compatible with a wide range of lighting products from various manufacturers that use the same mounting system.
