The Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports Lens is a versatile super-telephoto zoom lens designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, also compatible with APS-C models providing an equivalent focal length of 90-900mm. It is ideal for capturing sports, wildlife, portraiture, and fast-moving action with exceptional optical performance and speed.
Featuring a newly designed HLA focusing motor, this lens delivers unprecedented autofocus speed, precision, and quiet operation, with excellent focus tracking for moving subjects such as birds, cars, and planes. The dual-action zoom system enhances handling by allowing both rotary and straight zooming motions for intuitive and quick adjustments.
The updated Optical Stabilizer system significantly reduces camera shake, improving image stabilization by up to seven stops at the wide end and six stops at the telephoto end, enabling sharper handheld shooting across the zoom range.
Optical design includes 27 elements in 19 groups, incorporating three SLD and two FLD elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and spherical distortions, ensuring sharpness and color accuracy throughout the zoom range. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting, while the front element's water- and oil-repellent coating enhances durability in challenging environments.
The lens features a rounded nine-blade diaphragm for smooth bokeh, a thermally stable composite body for consistent performance in varying temperatures, and a robust brass bayonet mount for secure attachment.
