The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is engineered for Sony E-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, delivering advanced optical performance and high-speed autofocus. Its 50mm focal length is ideal for portraiture, landscapes, and versatile shooting scenarios, featuring a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture for excellent shallow depth of field control.
The lens incorporates 14 elements in 11 groups, including three aspherical lenses and one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass element. This design effectively suppresses aberrations such as astigmatism and field curvature that cannot be corrected in-camera, ensuring sharp and clear images.
Autofocus and Handling Features
- Equipped with a newly designed High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) focusing motor, providing high-speed, precise, and quiet autofocus performance.
- Includes a focus mode switch, aperture ring with click and lock switches to prevent unintended adjustments, and an AFL button customizable for camera functions.
Build and Durability
- Constructed with dust and splash-resistant design to withstand challenging shooting environments.
- Features a brass bayonet mount for enhanced accuracy and durability.
