General Description
The FieldCast Power Panel One is a 19-inch 1RU rack panel designed for hybrid fiber and power integration in broadcast and video production environments. It features a robust steel construction with a black paint finish and rounded edges, measuring 1.8 mm in thickness and weighing 1.2 kg.
Connector Layout
- Front panel: 4× FieldCast 2Core Singlemode (SM) Hybrid chassis connectors for bridging hybrid cables.
- Rear panel: 4× LC Duplex fiber connections and 4× XLR power connectors.
Functionality and Compatibility
This panel serves as a secure patch and breakout interface between delicate LC fiber connections and the more rugged FieldCast chassis connectors. It is primarily designed to bridge FieldCast Hybrid Main Cables to Blackmagic Design ATEM Studio/Talkback converters and to interface with a FieldCast Power Box for power distribution.
The rear XLR connectors supply 24 V power to the hybrid cables from the FieldCast Power Box, enabling power over fiber transport alongside fiber connectivity.
