Compact Design and 4K Recording
The SJCAM C400 combines a compact, detachable design with 4K Ultra HD recording at 30 fps, making it suitable for everyday vlogging and dynamic point-of-view footage. Detach the small camera to record from a first-person perspective or capture different angles. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry during daily activities and travel. 4K recording preserves fine detail and vibrant colours.
Rotating Screen for Portrait and Landscape Recording
The rotating touchscreen makes it easy to switch between portrait and landscape framing to suit your content. Portrait orientation is useful for social media, while landscape orientation provides a traditional video format. The display offers a convenient preview for precise framing, and rotating it also turns on the device.
Wireless Controller and Live Preview
The wireless controller connects to the camera via Bluetooth and lets you start or stop recording and change settings from up to 8 m away. Its 2.29-inch rotating touchscreen provides a live view, so you can monitor and control the shot when filming alone or when the camera is mounted somewhere difficult to reach.
Steady Motion V1.0 Stabilisation
A 6-axis gyroscope works with the Steady Motion V1.0 algorithm to reduce the effect of camera shake and help produce smoother footage when recording on the move. This stabilisation helps keep dynamic scenes clear and steady, including in challenging conditions.
Extended Recording and Creative Modes
When paired with the wireless controller, the C400 can record 4K video for approximately 7 hours. Its low power consumption supports longer recording sessions during travel and all-day activities. Additional features include Time Lapse, Slow Motion, live streaming and webcam functionality.
