SJCAM SJ4000 Wi-Fi Action Camera

The SJCAM SJ4000 Wi-Fi captures video in resolutions up to 4K at 30 fps and takes photos at up to 12 MP. Its 170° wide-angle lens records a broad scene, while the 2-inch LTPS LCD screen helps you monitor and frame your shots. Features include 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, 5× digital zoom, time-lapse, loop recording, motion detection, car mode and a webcam function. The included waterproof housing allows use underwater at depths of up to 30 m.

Detailed 4K video and photos up to 12 MP

Record important moments in high resolution and preserve the details of your adventures. The SJ4000 Wi-Fi records 4K, 2K and 1080p video at 30 fps, and 720p video at either 30 or 60 fps. Video is saved in MP4 format with H.264 encoding. JPG photos are available at resolutions up to 12 MP, so the camera can be used for both video and still photography.

Wide 170° field of view and framing control

The 170° lens captures a wide scene, fitting more of the surroundings and action into the frame. The camera has an f/2.2 aperture and 5× digital zoom. Exposure compensation from ±2 EV and adjustable white balance help adapt image capture to the conditions. White balance options are Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Incandescent, Fluorescent and Underwater. The built-in 2-inch LTPS LCD screen makes it easy to monitor the frame and compose shots.

Recording and photo modes

The SJ4000 Wi-Fi offers several recording options for different situations. In addition to standard recording, modes include time-lapse, motion detection and loop recording with 3-, 5- or 10-minute segments. Car mode expands its use in a vehicle. Photo options include standard photography, interval shooting and burst mode.

Wi-Fi and app control

The built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module supports the 802.11b/g/n standard and connects to the SJCAM Zone app. The app lets you control the camera remotely, view a live feed and share recorded footage. App control is useful when the camera is mounted somewhere that makes direct access to its controls difficult.

Waterproof housing and battery life

The waterproof housing allows the SJ4000 Wi-Fi to be used at depths of up to 30 m for recording dives and underwater activities. A dedicated Underwater white balance mode is available. The camera measures 59 × 41 × 31 mm and weighs 60 g. Its 900 mAh, 3.7 V lithium-ion battery has an energy rating of 3.33 Wh and provides up to 120 minutes of operation when recording in 4K at 30 fps. The camera supports microSD cards up to 128 GB and has a USB-C port. It can also function as a webcam and includes one microphone and one speaker.
