Designed for Mirage Matte Box
This 95mm Circular Polarizer from Tilta is designed to slide into the Mirage Matte Box, perfectly covering lenses with a 95mm front diameter. It can also be clamped directly onto a 95mm lens using the Lightweight Filter Clamp-On Adapter (sold separately).
Wireless Motor Compatibility
The polarizer's rotation can be controlled remotely via the Tilta Wireless Motor (available separately), allowing camera operators to adjust the filter angle to maximize the reduction of unwanted reflections and glare.
Polarizer Functionality
Polarizers filter out polarized light caused by reflections from non-metallic surfaces, such as haze in the sky or reflections on water. By rotating the filter, users can block this light to reduce glare and enhance color saturation in skies and foliage, improving image contrast and clarity.
Circular Polarizer Design for Autofocus and Exposure
Unlike linear polarizers, circular polarizers include a randomizing filter layer behind the polarizing element. This design prevents distortion of incoming light, ensuring that autofocus and internal light metering systems function correctly when the filter is in use.
