Protective Armor and Mounting Points

The cage provides protective armor for your camera body and features mounting points such as:

• 1/4-20 threads
• Rosette Connection
• Cold Shoe Receiver

NATO Rail Connections

You will also find two NATO rail connections which are compatible with our optional Type IV/VI Side Handles or Compact NATO Top Handle.

15mm Single Rod Holders

The cage features several mounting points for the optional 15mm Single Rod Holders, which are great lightweight solutions for securing follow focus motors via a 15mm rod.

Battery Compartment Access

The base of the cage allows you to access the battery compartment and includes a slot for an included magnetic screwdriver.

Bottom Plate Features

The bottom plate utilizes an Arca Swiss standard and can natively connect to our Type VI 15mm LWS Baseplate and the DJI RS3 Pro / RS3 / RS2.

Please note the height from the sensor to rods will not be LWS standard when using this baseplate. We recommend the Type IV Baseplate to support the LWS standard.

Secure Connection to Camera Body

The bottom of the cage connects to your camera body with a 1/4-20 screw and utilizes an additional point of contact via a safety locating point that helps prevent the camera from moving within the cage.
