Tokina Vista-P prime lenses are physically similar to existing Vista lenses; however, their optical properties differ significantly. Retaining the familiar look characteristic of famous vintage lenses like the Helios-44 or Petzval with their distinctive swirling distortion at the frames edge, the Vista-P prime lenses deliver a cleaner and more contemporary overall aesthetic. Additionally, they offer exceptional sharpness that surpasses the typical sharpness of vintage lenses.

In addition to their distinctive visual properties, Tokina Cinema Vista-P lenses maintain all the key advantages of standard Vista prime lenses. These lenses feature minimal focus breathing, and their image circle is 46.7 mm, suitable for all large-format cinema cameras. Furthermore, they retain such consistent features as a 114 mm front diameter and a nine-blade aperture.
