Website accessibility

We strive to make the websites www.masterfoto.lv and Mans Masterfoto accessible to all users, including people with functional disabilities and users who rely on assistive technologies.

In June 2025, an accessibility assessment was carried out based on the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

During the assessment, several aspects were identified where the website partially did not meet accessibility requirements, for example:

• keyboard navigation was difficult in some sections;
• certain visual elements did not meet contrast requirements;
• the main menu was not fully structured in accordance with WCAG guidelines;
• some images and elements lacked appropriate descriptions (ALT texts).

Based on this assessment, we have implemented and continue to implement improvements in order to gradually increase the level of website accessibility.

Keyboard accessibility (from 29.01.2026)

The website is adapted for use without a mouse — using the keyboard only. All main navigation and shopping processes are accessible via the keyboard.

Basic keys

• Tab — move to the next interactive element
• Shift + Tab — move to the previous element
• Enter — open a link or activate a button
• Space — enable or disable selectable elements (for example, filters)
• Esc — close an open menu or submenu

Using the top menu (main navigation)

Navigation through the main menu is possible using the arrow keys:

• ← / → — move between top-level menu items (for example, Catalog, Rent, Brands, Information)
• ↓ — open the menu and move focus into its content
• ↑ / ↓ — move between menu items
• → — open a submenu (if available)
• ← — return to the previous menu level
• Esc — close the open menu and return focus to the top level

Category and tile menus

Categories displayed as tiles or in table form can be navigated using the arrow keys:

• ← / → — move within a single row
• ↑ / ↓ — move between rows
• Enter — open the selected category or section

Product filters and price range

Product filters can be opened and used via the keyboard:

• Tab — move between filter sections
• Enter / Space — open a filter or select a value
• price range fields allow direct value input from the keyboard

Store accessibility

Our physical store is located at F. Sadovņikova Street 39, Riga.

Although the premises are not fully adapted for people with mobility impairments, our staff are always ready to provide individual assistance.
