The FNIRSI WD-01 Wire Detector is designed to help safely locate hidden materials such as metal, wood, live wires, and copper components behind walls and floors. Precise Detection of Various Materials

The WD-01 accurately detects magnetic metals like steel and rebar, non-magnetic metals including copper wires and pipes, wooden elements, and live electrical wires. It performs effectively on drywall, wood, plywood, wood-clad walls, and solid wood floors, identifying wooden studs, light-gauge steel profiles, nails, and hidden installations. Note that the device primarily detects live electrical wires; non-live wires may not be detected or may be affected by nearby metal objects.

Deep Scanning Modes

The detector offers two operating modes: Deep and Exact, allowing precise adjustment of scanning methods based on the task. It can detect metal objects up to 120 mm deep and copper elements up to 100 mm deep, covering typical drilling depths of 30 to 60 mm and enabling use in more demanding applications. The modern HPC detection module with an interference-reduction circuit minimizes false alarms and enhances accuracy. A central positioning hole allows precise marking of the drilling location after locating the center of the detected object.

Clear Readouts and Intuitive Operation

The backlit HD display shows the depth, material type, and position relative to the detection center. A system of light indicators simplifies result interpretation: green indicates no object detected, yellow and red indicate approaching the target. An audible signal sounds upon detection, becoming continuous when the exact center is reached, facilitating precise drilling.

Robust and Ergonomic Design

The compact housing measures 138 × 68 × 22 mm and weighs 122 g, fitting comfortably in the hand for indoor and outdoor use. Non-slip textured sides and an impact-resistant ABS plastic body enhance durability. The front panel is acrylic, and silicone buttons provide comfortable operation. The built-in 300 mAh lithium battery is rechargeable via USB-C, ensuring the detector is ready for any project.
