Material and Design
- Constructed from black-anodized aluminum for durability and lightweight use.
- Interior features light-absorbing flat black ribs to minimize internal reflections and flare.
Compatibility and Mounting
- Designed to screw into lenses with a 67 mm front thread.
- Specifically intended for telephoto lenses with focal lengths approximately 85 mm full-frame equivalent and longer.
- Note: This model is a dedicated 67 mm version, separate from other Type 960 hoods available in different thread sizes.
- Not designed for reverse mounting on the lens.
Functionality
- Reduces stray light and lens flare to improve image contrast and quality.
