NiSi Circular ND8 (3-Stop) Filter for S6 System
Optical Density and Exposure Control
This NiSi circular neutral density (ND) filter has an optical density of 0.9, which reduces the light entering the lens by 3 stops. This allows photographers to use wider apertures or longer shutter speeds than normally possible under given lighting conditions. By reducing exposure, it facilitates better control over depth of field and motion blur effects.
Applications
- Ideal for photographing waterfalls and flowing water with shutter speeds ranging from 0.5 to 2 seconds.
- Useful in scenes with high contrast between light and shadow to achieve balanced exposures.
High-Quality Construction
- Made from premium optical glass rather than resin, ensuring superior image quality.
- Features a nano coating to prevent detail loss and reduce unwanted reflections.

Compatibility
Designed for use with the NiSi S6 150 mm filter holder system. It screws into the NiSi S6 150 mm filter holder adapter ring after removing the included Pro screw-in circular polarizer. Note: When used with older generation S5 adapters, the S6 holder frame must be used.
