Freewell Brandon Li 95 mm Variable Density ND/CPL Filter Kit
The Freewell Brandon Li 95 mm Cine Kit is a comprehensive filter set for photography and videography, designed for use in a variety of lighting conditions. It includes a VND/CPL filter with a 1–5-stop range, an ND32 filter that reduces light by 5 stops, and a 95 mm base ring with a magnetic mounting system. Combining the VND/CPL and ND32 filters provides up to 10 stops of light reduction, helping you maintain suitable exposure settings in bright conditions. Developed in collaboration with filmmaker Brandon Li, the system is designed for efficient use with photographic and cine lenses.
VND/CPL – Exposure Adjustment and Glare Control
The VND/CPL filter lets you adjust the amount of light reaching the lens across a range of 1 to 5 stops. This makes it easier to use a wide aperture while maintaining an appropriate shutter speed in bright conditions. Its integrated polarising function helps reduce reflections from glass, water and other reflective surfaces, giving you greater control over the captured image.
ND32 – Additional 5-Stop Light Reduction
The kit includes a tempered-glass ND32 filter that provides a constant 5-stop light reduction. Use it on its own with the 95 mm base ring when a fixed reduction is required, or combine it with the VND/CPL filter. Together, the filters provide up to 10 stops of light reduction, which is particularly useful in bright daylight.
95 mm Magnetic Mounting System
The 95 mm base ring enables quick attachment of system components without repeatedly screwing in filters. Its magnetic mechanism and locking feature allow efficient configuration changes during operation and reduce the steps needed to change a filter.
Covers and Storage Accessories
Front and rear covers protect the system components during transport and storage. The front cover has an integrated grey card for quick white-balance checks and adjustments. The set also includes a filter case, a cleaning cloth and a clip-on carabiner holder for convenient everyday carrying and use.
