Product Details

ILFORD introduced the world’s first variable contrast MULTIGRADE paper in 1940 and has continuously evolved the range to become the preferred black & white paper for discerning darkroom printers worldwide. The current emulsion design maintains the long-standing tradition of MULTIGRADE quality, providing enhanced response where needed to reveal subtle highlight details while rendering shadows in deep rich blacks, accentuated by the bright white base.

This paper is suitable for printing directly from negatives and offers creative control for advanced users. It is also available in Cooltone and Warmtone variants.

Compatibility and Usage

ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is part of the ILFORD MULTIGRADE system, allowing seven full grades of contrast when used with ILFORD MULTIGRADE filters. It is compatible with most common safelights for black & white darkroom paper, such as the ILFORD 902 safelight filter.
