The tripod features 2-stage carbon fiber legs with a 100mm bowl and a removable 75mm adapter, allowing compatibility with heads using either 100mm or 75mm balls. A half ball adapter is also included to mount the 608 head with its flat base directly on the legs. The fluid head provides variable pan and tilt drag with independent locks and continuous counterbalance from 0 to 8 kg (17.6 lb).

This flat base fluid video head is designed for versatile use across tripods, sliders, jibs, monopods, and other support gear, featuring a 3/8"-16 mounting thread. Its key feature is the nitrogen gas piston counterbalance mechanism, enabling continuous counterbalance adjustment over a payload range of 0 to 14 kg (30.9 lb). Upgraded fluid technology ensures smooth, judder-free pan and tilt movements with continuously variable drag performance.
The camera plate system uses a side-lock mechanism for quicker and safer mounting, allowing the plate to be inserted from the top side rather than sliding in from the rear. Two rosette mounts on either side support the included pan bar and feature Manfrotto's Easy Link system for attaching accessories via articulating arms. Each rosette includes a 3/8"-16 port with Manfrotto and ARRI anti-rotation slots to prevent twisting.
Additional improvements include enhanced resistance to low operating temperatures and ergonomic knob designs for better handling.

The 645 FAST Twin Leg Video Tripod features two-stage carbon fiber legs with a 100mm bowl and a single locking lever per leg using Manfrotto's Ultra L-Lock system, allowing leg locking and unlocking without bending down. The tripod supports up to 25 kg (55 lb) and offers a maximum working height of 157 cm (61.8 inches), minimum height of 27 cm (10.6 inches), and folds down to 73 cm (28.7 inches).
Legs can be set for free movement or locked at three angles (70°, 50°, 20°) for spreaderless operation. A mid-level spreader is included for added stability when free movement is selected. Twin spiked feet with removable rubber overshoes allow use on various terrains and protect delicate surfaces.
