The Libec JB40 is a professional-grade jib arm designed as the successor to the popular JB30 model. It offers a rigid, compact, and lightweight solution ideal for front operations with heavy cameras, providing outstanding stability and flexibility for on-site video production.
Rigidity and Payload Capacity
The JB40 supports camera payloads up to 20 kg with a main arm length of 100 cm, and up to 30 kg with a shorter 63 cm arm. Its design minimizes wobbling and bending, ensuring smooth and stable camera movements.
Portability and Compactness
- When folded, the jib arm measures approximately 120 cm in length, fitting easily into a car trunk.
- Weighing only 10.3 kg, it comes with a carrying case featuring a shoulder strap for comfortable transport.
- The main arm slides to reduce the jib's radius to about one meter, making it suitable for tight production spaces.
Improved Weight Mounting
The JB40 features a redesigned weight mounting system, switching from the JB30's screw-in type to a plug-in type weight bar. This change significantly reduces assembly and breakdown time.
Easy Setup
Setup involves just three steps: connecting the support arms, mounting the jib on a tripod, and adjusting the balance. This simplicity allows even small crews to operate the jib efficiently.
Compatibility
