Protective Armor and Secure Mounting

The Tilta Camera Cage for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K (Full Frame) provides robust protective armor for the camera body, minimizing wear over time. It features a redesigned top plate that perfectly aligns with the 1/4-20 thread on the top of the Full Frame camera body, a compatibility update from previous versions. The cage secures to the camera with a three-point locking mechanism, including two screws at the bottom, ensuring a highly stable and secure fit.

Accessory Mounting Options

• Multiple 1/4-20 threads with locating pins for precise accessory attachment
• Cold shoe receivers for mounting microphones, lights, or other accessories
• Arri-compatible rosette for attaching side handles and other Arri accessories
• NATO rail for NATO-based side handles and accessories

Modular and Flexible Design

The cage features a detachable right side arm module, allowing it to convert from a full cage to a half cage or an L-bracket setup. This flexibility is ideal for lighter builds or when using gimbals. The bottom plate includes multiple 1/4-20 mounting points compatible with various quick release plates and the ARCA receiver of the DJI RS3 Pro gimbal.

Battery Grip Compatibility and Rod Support

When configured as a half cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Blackmagic Design Battery Grip. It also includes a dual 15mm rod holder aligned with the LWS standard, enabling the use of rod-based accessories in proper alignment with the battery grip.

Xeno Top Handle

The kit includes the Xeno Top Handle, which mounts to the cage via a 1/4-20 screw with locating pins. The handle has a silicone padded grip for comfortable handling and offers multiple mounting points, including a cold shoe receiver, 1/4-20, and 3/8-16 threads for additional accessories.

Additional Included Accessories

• 90 Degree HDMI Adapter: Attaches near the HDMI port to provide a secure connection and reduce port wear.
• SSD Drive Holder: Mounts via a 1/4-20 screw with a locating pin, designed to clamp a Samsung T5 SSD drive for external recording.

Important Note

The Blackmagic Design EVF does not fully clear the top plate of the cage. Users should exercise caution to avoid damage to the EVF when using this cage.
