      Lightweight Car-Mounted Cinematography Solution

      The Tilta Hydra Alien Car Mounting System is engineered specifically for use with smaller gimbals, providing a lightweight and versatile solution for car-mounted cinematography.

      Compatibility and Design

      This system is compatible with DJI RS2, RS3, RS3 Pro, Crane 3S, Ronin 4D, and any gimbal that mounts via 1/4-20 screws and can be powered through P-Tap or internal power sources.

      Note: The newest generation of the RS3 gimbal is not compatible with the Security Attachment Bracket of the Power Supply Baseplate; an updated bracket will be available soon.

      Mounting System Features

      • Highly customizable combination of dovetail-like plates and suction cups.
      • Each suction cup supports a payload of up to 50 kg.
      • Shock-absorbing silicone material enhances durability and reduces abrasion.
      • Updated suction cup plungers create a stronger seal, improving security in colder weather.
      • Interconnected system allows precise adjustment for almost any mounting angle on a vehicle.

      Stabilization and Control

      • Includes a shock-absorbing arm to stabilize the camera during dynamic shots.
      • Features a spring-loaded cradle head for inverted gimbal mounting when required.
      • Newly added Hydraulic Dampening Pole further stabilizes the arm for smoother footage under challenging driving conditions.
      • Supports full wireless control of RS2 and RS3 Pro gimbals via an optional Remote Control Kit, enabling adjustment of gimbal settings and camera record/photo functions through wired or wireless connections.
      • Equipped with a thumbstick for precise pan and tilt control of the gimbal during operation.

      Versatile Mounting Options

      The system allows mounting high, low, to the side, or on top of a vehicle, enabling a wide range of creative car-mounted shots.

      Usage Caution

      Important: Suction cups are not recommended for use on wrapped vehicles due to potential suction issues caused by direct sunlight and heat.
