Cokin Z Filter U400-03 Black & White Kit
The Cokin Z Filter U400-03 Black & White Kit is a complete set of four filters designed for black and white photography. Cokin filters are made of CR-39 organic glass and provide optimal light transmission for high image quality. The filters are extremely lightweight and are highly resistant to shocks and drops. The filters in this U400-03 kit measure 100 by 100 millimetres and are compatible with the Cokin Z-series filter holder.
The Z001 and Z002 filters
The Cokin Z001 filter emphasises the yellow tones in an image and makes it warmer in tone. The Z002 Orange filter darkens the colours blue, purple, green and yellow/green. The filter is very useful for landscape and architectural photography in black and white photography to obtain vivid contours. It softens the colour of the sky and makes the clouds stand out clearly.
The Z003 and Z004 filters
The Z003 Red filter is ideal for improving contrast in your images. Green and blue colours are filtered out while red colours are emphasised. Clouds are emphasised more as if a storm is coming. This filter is also very effective when shooting in foggy conditions and for creating moonlight effects. This filter can also be used for infrared photography. With the Z004 Green filter you can create certain grey tones that are normally unobtainable with black and white photography. These grey tones add depth to your images.
