NEEWER BASICS X12B Aluminum Alloy Liftable Teleprompter

The NEEWER BASICS X12B is designed for video recording, live streaming, online lessons, presentations and other content where the speaker needs to look directly into the camera lens. Its foldable, no-assembly design allows quick setup and convenient transport. The liftable camera platform adjusts the camera lens height to align with the teleprompter glass.

The 12-inch (30.5 cm) HD beamsplitter glass has approximately 75% light transmission, and displayed text can be read from up to 3 m away. The holder supports phones and tablets up to approximately 25 × 22 cm, including various iPad, iPad Air and iPad Pro 11-inch models. The iPad Pro 12-inch is listed as incompatible.

Use and compatibility

The 12-inch glass provides a larger reading area than compact teleprompters designed for smartphones, making the X12B suitable for studio work, presentations and filming subjects positioned farther from the camera. Larger NEEWER X14, X16 and X17 series teleprompters offer more reading area but are larger and less portable.

The manufacturer does not recommend wide-angle lenses and specifies a camera lens focal length greater than 28 mm. The phone mounted in the teleprompter is intended to display text; a separate camera is recommended for recording. The included NEEWER RT113 Bluetooth remote controls text playback, pause, speed, pages and font size. Its AAA battery is not included.
