Powered by 8 AA batteries (not included) or an optional AC adapter, the NexStar GoTo telescopes are travel-friendly. The internal battery compartment powers high-precision servo motors, ensuring rigid, low-vibration performance and eliminating cord wrap issues common with external battery packs.
The ergonomically designed hand control can be removed for remote operation or left in its cradle for hands-free use. With a button press, users can select objects from the catalog, adjust slew speed, access detailed object information, or check object visibility in the sky.
